My Sacred Daily Routine

“Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind.  You are as old as your doubt, your fear, your despair.  The way to keep young is to keep your faith young.  Keep your self-confidence young.  Keep your hope young.” – Luella F. Phean author

I discovered this quote  recently  pondered how I keep my hope and faith young.  I still feel about 29 years old inside, so I feel  young most of the time (except in the last week when I have had a nasty cough and feel about 95 years old).

I do find that my thinking gets stale if I am not careful, so what works for me is my “sacred morning routine”.

Almost every morning I spend time reading inspirational, spiritually uplifting writing (my favs are Eckhart Tolle, Wayne Dyer, Louise Hay, Joan Boryshenko, Tao De Ching, Jon Kabat Zinn), meditating (using lovingkindness meditation, “may I be filled with loving kindness, may I be well, may I be peaceful and at ease, may I be happy” and then turn it to include others, ie may all be filled with lovingkindness etc….), I focus on gratitude and then review my dreams and intentions for the future (adding in affirmations).  It always works!  Give it a try!

So, Now I'm a Blogging Resource!

Here is what I am learning about blogging; not alot of women I know, of my age and stage are “doing it”!  I seem to be one of the only ones and now I have been asked to write an article about blogging.  Hmmm, I still feel like a blogging virgin! Well, I guess I have learned a few things.

I think I know that: the business women I know are curious about blogging, some of them are not familiar with technology, some don’t use the computer as a daily part of their work or life, some don’t see the point, some don’t journal, so doing an on-line journal doesn’t make sense, they think it is expensive; I wonder if I am right!  I am going to do a little informal market research before I write the article!  Help me out here, if you are reading this, you at least read blogs.  I need more informaion; do you have your own blog, if so why did you start one, how long have you been a blogger etc, how has blogging changed your life?

email me: or better yet, tell us how to read your blog!  Any resources, information, learning about blogging that you can share will be appreciated!
