Making Friends with Yourself: A Mindful Self Compassion Program for Teens
A research supported program designed to help teens learn resources that may help them cope in difficult times. This program combines exercises in mindfulness, art, movement, and multi media to cultivate kindness, insight, self-awareness, empathy, emotional regulation and resilience. Taught by Dr. Georgina Robinson, a certified School Psychologist with assistance from Zoey Ryan BSc., Health Educator. Both Georgina and Zoey are trained Mindful Self Compassion Teachers registered with the Center for Mindful Self Compassion where Georgina has completed additional training with the “Making Friends with Yourself” adaptation.
