Start a ‘body centered’ practice, not for just the purpose of exercise but in addition, for the purpose of ‘getting back into your body’ or ‘inhabiting your body more fully’.
You may wish to start and continue on a regular basis a practice like yoga, chi gong or tai chi. Or, you may choose to start your day with a body scan or check in with your body through out the day to ‘hear your body’s messages’.
