For those of you who love travelling and the idea of travelling but might not be able to pull it off at the moment, enjoy the following books and get a “hit” of travel adventure!
“Eat, Pray, Love†by Elizabeth Gilbert; “The Tales of a Female Nomad†by Rita Golden Gelman; “Beyond The Sky and the Earth: A Journey Into Bhutan†by Jamie Zeppa; “Holy Cow: An Indian Adventure” by Sarah Macdonald and “Walking the Camino de Santiago†by Bethan Davies and Ben Cole.
The first four I believe are best described as travel memoirs and the last book is a guide book to the Camino de Santiago.Â
I love this type of reading for the summer! Enjoy!

“Lois on the Loose” is a new travel book and an adventure. It’s a good accounting of her life and travels from England to Alaska then on MOTORCYCLE all the way to the tip of South America. She’s alone for much of it, cautious, and savy. She buddies up with another woman who jets her bike in to meet her in Columbia. Awesome. This may be the most amazing story of 21st Century adventure I’ll ever read, “Lois on the Loose.”
Harry, thanks for letting us know about “Lois on the Loose”, I am getting shivers thinking about reading this! On MOTORCYCLE no less, wow!
