Casa del Mar and Other Great Los Cabos Resorts
We have been vacationing to the Los Cabos area since 1990! Like today, the Pacific Northwest is well known for cool, gloomy rainy days and both my husband and I ‘got hooked’ on a sunny holiday to warm southern climates mid winter.
We picked the Los Cabos area initially as it was the closest hot and sunny destination from British Columbia. In those days we were traveling with very young children and flight length, sun and cost were the key factors!
We fell in love with the Baja and San Jose del Cabo on our first trip and have stayed at many resorts and condos over the years. We love the people of Mexico, the charm and the traditional Mexican architecture.
We have visited most of the areas in the southern third of the Baja and were really challenged when we finally decided to buy our own condo as there are many gorgeous locations and Resorts. Our criteria included: beachfront, tennis, swimming, golf, quietness, physical beauty, yoga if possible, a feeling of a peaceful oasis in the desert yet close enough to a larger center for groceries, shopping, restaurants and an airport!
