I never would have imagined that a desert could be breathtakingly beautiful!
When my husband Wayne and I met in 1984, my idea if a dream vacation included lots of palm trees and tropical foliage and an ocean, like in Hawaii.
Wayne had been traveling to the Palm Springs area for many years as his grandparents would spend the winter there.
I fell in love with the beauty of the desert on my first trip! I had been worried about liking it as thought it would be dry, barren and ugly.
Deserts are unique bio systems filled with life! The sunlight in a desert area seems brighter and more luminous.
I love traveling back to the Baja and feel so blessed to have a little home/condo in the Los Cabos Corridor that is our sanctuary! I have named it Casita Topaz due to the gorgeous peachy topaz colour of the sand and surrounding rocks.
