Women ~ Health ~ Life: The Importance of Connection & Community

We have been exploring Mexico over the past 20 years or so, with the view of putting down roots.

As a family, we fell in love with the Mexican people and culture when we hosted Mexican homestay students learning English in Vancouver.

We also fell in love with the Baja, traveling here initially in 1990. We experienced the early days of San Jose del Cabo and fondly remember waking up to see cows munching on the golf course!

Over the years we have explored the Mayan Riviera (love Isla Mujeres), the Pacific Coast and Bay of Banderas, spending many holidays in the quaint and beautiful Puebla of Yelapa, where we made many friends.

Our criteria for ‘settling down’ however, includes the possibility of driving and due to this and the fact that it is not possible to purchase real estate in Yelapa and with the Cabo area being so busy and developed, we have ‘settled on’ the gorgeous community of Loreto!

Here’s a view from our beach chair the other day ….

Enjoy!
