I didn’t know that women have a trickier time transcending ego until Andrew Cohen told me (in “What is Enlightenment†July – September 2007).
I am also very happy to report that we can now come together beyond ego, thanks to Andrew.
From WEI, page 59 says Cohen: “So this ‘new women’s liberation’ is a project that I’ve been working very hard on for quite a long time, and I believe that in the last year or so I have achieved significant victory. I have a group of women I’m working with now who have finally taken that bold leap to come together beyond ego. I cracked this thing, for the first time really, last summer, and since that time, these women have started to simply delight in each other’s company in a way that is not the kind of thing women usually do. It sounds very simple, but it’s actually quite a profound shift. Women can share all kinds of personal places and spaces together, but to simply delight in being together in a profound level of trust and transparency and impersonal care is very rare indeed, as far as I know!â€
Golly gee Andrew, I will be sure to let all my dear women friends know!
Might there be another ego in the room that needs transcending, hmmmmm?

This made me laugh out loud. Thank you, dear sir, for granting us women the right to enjoy camaraderie without cattiness! What a relief!
romanlily,
I am so very glad you enjoyed this posting! A whole new range of living is opening up for us womenfolk!

I wonder how long it took for everyone to forget there was a guy in the room and just act like we normally do when there is no guy in the room.
