Anita founded ‘The Body Shop’ with a friend and grew this business through passion and the purpose of women helping women, sustainability and reducing violence towards women. The original Body Shop ads were provocative, edgy and effective.
I was honoured to be able to experience Anita’s charisma first hand, when she visited Vancouver.
Anita passed on a few years ago and she remains a powerful role model for me in women and leadership.
