Topaz Lotus Living: Los Cabos Vacation
I’m quite excited about an upcoming vacation back to one of our favorite places on earth, Casa Del Mar in the Los Cabos area! Baja California Sur, both delights my senses and nourishes my heart and soul! As many folks say, there is just something about the Baja!
We first heard about Casa Del Mar in 1990, when we made our first trip to the Los Cabos area. At that time, the ‘Corridor’, the stretch of beach between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo was virtually undeveloped and the Casa Del Mar development consisted of one condo building. We could see the vision and the potential and actually put on offer in on a condo unit. Our condo purchase idea fizzled, fortuitously as it turns out, however, we have returned to the resort many times over the years and always have a wonderful vacation.
On this trip, we will be joined by our best couple friends (who we met in pre-natal class many years ago), and with whom we have shared a multitude of milestones, celebrations and vacations! We have sailed together, laughed together, parented kids together and lost loved ones together.
There is something very, very special about having such long standing and great friends. Our families lives have been intertwined for 25 years.
On this trip, we will enjoy sunrises, dancing, relaxing, wonderful food, swimming, yoga on the beach (with the wonderful Ivonne of Shanti Yoga Los Cabos), reading, great chats and maybe some paddleboarding!

How did your trip to Cabo go? I haven’t had the opportunity to go to Cabo yet, but I’ve heard the weather is lovely and the beaches are beautiful.
