There’s nothing like sailing to keep one mindful and in the present!

Today, crossing the entrance to Nanaimo Harbour, we came across all manner of watercraft. One certainly needs to be aware and observant. We saw dragon boaters, other sail boats, kayakers, ferries, swimmers and power boats.

It really is a metaphor for life and the wide variety of personalities one encounters. If we are ‘awake’ and mindful, we are open to the complexities and layering of relationships and appreciative of difference.
